Job Description
Essential Position Functions: Greet members and guests to the Fitness Center or Performance Center warmly and pleasantly and oversee the coordination of all member and guest requests and issues/complaints in a professional, courteous, and timely manner. Perform administrative tasks associated with facility operations, including front desk responsibilities, point of sale transactions, and membership registrations. Assist in designing and implementing health promotion, wellness, and educational programming. Supervise and monitor exercise participants. Assist with Members services at the pools, including cleaning and general upkeep of facility area. Perform other duties as assigned. Educational Experiences and Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent and/or 1-year experience in a related field (fitness/wellness). Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or relevant preferred. CPR, AED, and First Aid certification. An outgoing personality and excellent communication skills. Superior customer service skills. Must be available afternoons and weekends Working Conditions: Must be in excellent physical condition and perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, lifting, and grasping for extended periods of time.
