Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Your main responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Duties Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner Present menus to customers and answer any questions they may have Take accurate food and drink orders from customers Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of meals Serve food and beverages to customers in a prompt and efficient manner Check on customers throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction Clear tables and clean dining area after customers have finished their meals Handle cash and process payments accurately using the POS system Collaborate with other staff members to provide exceptional customer service Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests Skills To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: Food preparation: Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and ability to handle food safely. Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Restaurant experience: Previous experience working in a restaurant setting is preferred. Kitchen knowledge: Familiarity with kitchen operations and ability to work closely with kitchen staff. Customer service: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide excellent customer service. Basic math: Proficiency in basic math calculations for handling payments and making change. Food safety: Knowledge of proper food handling procedures to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination. POS system: Experience using a point-of-sale (POS) system for order processing and payment transactions.
