Job SummaryWe are in search of a Part-Time Housekeeper at our residential home.Our ideal candidate has great attention to detail and knowledge about a wide range of housekeeping tasks.We can be flexible with schedule, with an option to either come 3 days a week for a full day (7-8 hours) or 5 days a week (4-5 hours).Primary duties include cleaning of the kitchen and living spaces, washing and changing of bed linens & towels, vacuuming, mopping, some clothing laundry & ironing, bathroom cleaning, and dusting.Additionally taking out trash in the house and bringing the garbage cans to the street weekly along with bringing packages in from outside.Occasionally we will ask you to take care of other tasks like preparing the guesthouse for a guest or deep cleaning closets, etc.The ideal candidate would be flexible with tasks and a great communicator.Please note we have 2 cats and 2 dogs so if you have pet allergies this might not be the ideal situation for you.We will provide all cleaning products, vacuum, mop, etc.We have specific products we use in order to maintain a low toxin household and ask that this candidate only use products we provide.We are a very fun loving household and often host gatherings and guests.We are understanding that after such an event the kitchen might be messier than normal, for example, so if other things can't be done within the timeframe we are okay with that.All we ask is for communication and flexibility Skills Proven experience in cleaning or hospitality environments with a focus on housekeeping tasks Strong knowledge of cleaning & laundry techniques Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts Effective communication skills to coordinate with household Your enthusiasm for maintaining pristine environments will make a tangible difference in our lives!
