Part Time Janitorial

APT Management Inc, is currently seeking a part-time Cleaner for our Ashland, MA residential property.The Cleaner reports to the Property Manager and is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the residential building.The hours are flexible for the right person and will range from 10-15 per week during weekdays.Relationships:Reports to the Property Manager Maintains professional relationships with other staff members, working closely with maintenance staff Maintains professional relationships with any contract laborers working on the property Maintains professional relationships with current and prospective residents and visitor Responsibilities:Cleans all hallways, stairwells and entrances Cleans all common areas Cleans all vacant apartments Vacuums carpets Washes windows Sweeps and mops tile floors Picks up trash in the building inside as well as outside Empties and sanitizes trash receptacles Cleans appliances Checks and removes lint from washers and dryers, behind machines and around motors Assists in inventory control of all janitorial equipment and supplies Assists with any emergency maintenance as needed Assists with on-call duty as needed Assists in snow removal from walkways and stairwells as needed Assists with painting as needed Checks and replaces light bulbs for all lighting, including emergency lighting and exit signs Notifies Supervisor of maintenance problems and makes recommendations Performs other related duties as required In emergency situations, performs all tasks as directed or as required The list above is not all-inclusive, but does represent the core activities of the Janitor position within APT Management, Inc.The Company has a mandatory background check and offers paid sick time benefits.To be considered for this position please send resume with salary requirements.EOE Job Type:Part-time Pay:From $18.00 per hour Benefits:Paid time off Referral program Ability to Commute:Ashland, MA 01721 (Preferred) Work Location:In person.
