Core Project Studios, an established cabinet supplier and residential design studio in Summit County, Colorado, is seeking a Part-Time Kitchen & Bath Designer to support an active residential building program and contribute to the continued growth of the business.The initial focus will be working with our semi-custom builders and their clients to lead the selection of fixed finishes, as well as the placement of custom cabinetry and appliance orders.While early work is structured and consistent, the long-term goal is to identify a designer who can grow into broader responsibility, increased client exposure, and eventual leadership within the studio.This is a client-forward position for someone who enjoys leading selection meetings, presenting pricing and designs, providing detailed estimates, and producing accurate, buildable work.Primary Responsibilities Design and execute kitchen and bath layouts using Cabinet Vision (required).Adapt repeatable base plans to individual client selections while maintaining accuracy and buildability.Lead client selection meetings and present designs and pricing.Prepare complete, installer-ready drawings, specifications, and cabinet/appliance orders.Maintain final responsibility for cabinet and appliance order accuracy.Manage projects from initial meeting through final approval and order placement.Conduct site visits as needed, including field measurements and coordination with construction teams.Coordinate with vendors, builders, and installers to support smooth execution.Maintain organized project files and support a professional showroom environment.Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable) 3years of residential kitchen and bath design experience.Proficiency with Cabinet Vision software.Demonstrated responsibility for final cabinet and appliance order accuracy.Strong understanding of cabinetry systems, appliances, and residential construction.Proven ability to manage clients, projects, and timelines independently.Professional, client-facing communication skills suitable for high-end residential design work.Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and technical drawings.Preferred Qualifications NKBA certification (AKBD, CKBD).Experience with builders, developers, or production-style residential programs.Interest in long-term growth and increased responsibility.Compensation & Structure Structure:Part-time employee or contract/freelance arrangement.Hours:Initially 15-20 hours per week.Schedule:Flexible; remote work considered with the expectation of regular on-site presence in Summit County, CO for client meetings, field measurements, deliveries, and jobsite coordination.Compensation:$40-$50 per hour, based on experience and capability, plus performance-based bonuses.Growth Path:Part-time or contract role with the potential to transition to expanded scope or full-time employment for the right individual as the business grows.How Success Is Measured Accuracy and completeness of designs and orders.Timely delivery of designs and pricing.Minimal rework or downstream corrections.Professional, low-friction experience for clients and partners.Ability to operate independently with minimal management overhead.This role is designed for an independent individual contributor who values precision, professionalism, and autonomy, and who is comfortable owning outcomes in a high-expectation residential environment.Pay:$40.00 - $50.00 per hour Work Location:Hybrid remote in Breckenridge, CO 80424.
