Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, skilled Part-Time Maintenance & Upkeep Technician to assist with ongoing interior and exterior maintenance at a private residence.This role is intended for an individual handyman, not a company or crew, who is comfortable handling a wide range of property upkeep tasks.The position will start part-time and has the potential to grow into a full-time, ongoing engagement based on performance and need.Responsibilities General handyman and maintenance work inside and outside the property Sprinkler system maintenance and minor repairs Pool equipment maintenance, including cleaning pool filters Stucco repair and patching Light plumbing and electrical work (as permitted by skill and experience) Preventative maintenance and routine property inspections Identifying and addressing issues before they become larger problems Keeping work areas clean, safe, and organized Requirements Proven handyman or residential maintenance experience Comfortable with both indoor and outdoor work Ability to work independently and problem-solve Reliable transportation and basic tools Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Individual applicants only (not seeking companies or subcontracting teams) References required Background check required Drug test required Language:English preferred; bilingual or multilingual candidates welcome Must be able to work as a 1099 independent contractor Preferred Qualifications Experience with residential sprinkler systems Experience maintaining pools or pool equipment Stucco or exterior repair experience General knowledge of residential systems and preventative maintenance Schedule & Pay Part-time to start Schedule will vary, with availability primarily oriented around weekends Opportunity for consistent, ongoing work with potential expansion to full-time hours Job Types:Part-time, Contract Pay:$24.41 - $29.39 per hour Expected hours:5 - 15 per week Work Location:In person.
