Position Overview We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN Ultrasound Technologist to join our team on a part-time basis. This position is designed for a working sonographer seeking flexible supplemental income, an ideal side position alongside your current role. The schedule is approximately one day per week, or two half-days, with genuine potential to grow over time as our practice and procedure volume expand. Suffolk is easily accessible from across Hampton Roads. About the Practice Lifetime Women's Health is a 13-year-established OB/GYN practice in Suffolk, Virginia led by Dr. Edward Wing. We provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to women across the Hampton Roads region, with a growing focus on advanced procedures including heavy bleeding management. Our team is lean, clinical, and patient-focused. Core Responsibilities Perform OB/GYN ultrasounds including first and second trimester surveys Obstetric anatomy scans (20-week surveys): required competency Gynecologic ultrasounds (pelvic, transvaginal) Maintain image quality, labeling, and documentation standards Coordinate with clinical staff for efficient patient flow Operate and perform basic maintenance checks on ultrasound equipment Required Demonstrated, hands-on competency in OB/GYN ultrasound. Anatomy scans are a core function of this role. Professional, patient-centered approach with strong communication skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in a clinical environment Available to commit to a consistent weekly schedule (minimum 1 day/week) Ability to confirm no moonlighting restrictions with current employer Preferred ARDMS certification in OB/GYN (or actively working toward it) Familiarity with EHR documentation (ModMed experience a plus, not required) You May Be a Good Fit If...
