Role Summary As a Part-time Outdoor Retail Sales Specialist, you are the face of our brand. You will deliver a premier, consultative, in-store experience that reflects KUIU’s dedication to technical excellence. The job is not only to sell gear, but to educate, guide, and build confidence in our customers, ensuring they are equipped for their next adventure. You will contribute to store performance through exceptional customer service, meticulous merchandising, and operational efficiency. Role and Responsibilities KUIU seeks an experienced retail professional. Reporting to the Store Manager, this role will: Customer Experience Deliver a premium, consultative in-store experience that reflects KUIU’s technical expertise and brand values. Assess and ensure understanding of each customer’s individual need for their respective pursuits Welcome customers into the store and establish lasting relationships through consistent engagement Actively engage customers throughout the day Maintain a premium store environment by ensuring cleanly merchandised and stocked assigned areas Remain thoroughly knowledgeable of existing and new products by participating in ongoing product trainings and seek to understand when new information is presented. Remain proficient at all point-of-sale functionalities Visual Merchandising & Operational Excellence Assist with visual merchandising, and product placement to maximize sales and ensure alignment with brand standards Support maintaining a visually compelling, organized store environment aligned with company standards Support inventory control processes, including product assortment monitoring, cycle counts and stock replenishment Support smooth day-to-day store operations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and compliance with company policies and regulations. Professional Qualifications Proven 3+ years of retail experience as a retail sales associate or representative Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices Basic math skills Point of sale experience with customer transactions Familiarity with standard inventory procedures Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business requires. Availability to work flexible shifts Monday-Saturday and Holidays 40+ hours per week High School degree Knowledge of the outdoors Personal Characteristics Solid communication and interpersonal skills A friendly and energetic personality Ability to perform under pressure and efficiently address customer concerns Highly self-motivated with a commitment to continuous improvement and openness to change Strong work ethic and commitment Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour Benefits Employee discount Application Question(s): How many years of hunting experience do you have?
