Part-Time Production & Packaging AssistantOn-Site San Diego, CA3 days per week 6-8 hours per day (based on business needs) About UsWe are a small, growing handmade product business specializing in tiny plant kits and clay-based creations.We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented team member to assist with production and order fulfillment.Position OverviewThis is a hands-on, on-site role supporting daily production and shipping operations.The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and comfortable working independently in a small studio environment.Schedule 3 days per week (set schedule to be discussed) 6-8 hours per shift depending on order volume On-site only Responsibilities Carefully package customer orders according to company standards Print, organize, and verify shipping labels Prepare outgoing shipments Drop off packages at the local post office as needed Monitor shipment tracking and assist with delayed or lost packages Contact USPS by phone or online to follow up on shipping issues when necessary Assist with simple clay production tasks (no prior experience required; training provided) Glue components and assemble small product pieces Clear and maintain 3D printer builds Assist with light repetitive production work Keep workstations clean and organized Restock packaging materials Maintain basic inventory organization Qualifications Reliable and punctual Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions carefully Comfortable performing repetitive tasks Able to stand for extended periods Must have reliable transportation (for occasional post office drop-offs) No prior experience required; training provided Compensation $18 per hour Introductory PeriodThis position includes a 90-day introductory period.During this time, performance, reliability, and overall fit will be evaluated.Continued employment beyond the introductory period will depend on performance and business needs.Pay:$18.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
