Responsibilities Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping tailored to each dog's breed and owner preferences Handle dogs safely and compassionately, utilizing animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and safety during grooming procedures Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools, stations, and work areas to uphold health standards and hygiene Communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming needs, aftercare instructions, and breed-specific styling tips Assist with pet care tasks such as brushing, ear cleaning, and minor veterinary-related procedures when necessary Manage appointment scheduling efficiently while providing excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction Support team members with animal handling and kennel experience as needed during busy periods or when caring for multiple pets Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming or related animal care fields such as veterinary technician or assistant roles Strong dog handling skills with the ability to work confidently with dogs of all temperaments and sizes Knowledge of pet grooming techniques, pet care practices, and animal restraint methods Experience with animal handling including pet sitting, kennel work, or equine experience is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to move pets or equipment safely Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Basic understanding of veterinary experience or veterinary assistant skills is beneficial but not mandatory Willingness to learn new grooming styles and stay updated on industry best practices Join us in creating happy, well-groomed pets while delivering exceptional care!
