The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND . Your Responsibilities As a Part-Time Student – Data & Analytics for Deere & Company located in Des Moines, IA you will: Apply analytics techniques to clean, preprocess, explore, and analyze data to generate actionable insights for Ag Engineering Collaborate in a fun, friendly, and fast‑paced team environment, partnering across disciplines and with key stakeholders Communicate insights clearly by presenting findings in meetings and translating results into reports and dashboards Maintain confidentiality and data protection standards when working with sensitive information VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position What Skills You Need Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Software Engineering, or a related field Graduation date of Spring 2027 or later Experience with Python, PySpark, and/or SQL programming languages Experience analyzing text and/or numeric data and creating data visualizations Independent learner and problem solver with high-level attention to detail and accuracy Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above Available to work 16-20 hours/week during the academic year Available to work 35-40 hours/week during the summer semester Must be able to commute to the work location in Ankeny, IA during the summer Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. accredited college/university What Makes You Stand Out Experience using Databricks, Tableau, or similar platforms and applications Experience using source control tools such as Git for branching, merging, and resolving conflicts Strong people, relationship-building, and communication skills.
