Part Time Truck Driver-Flexible hours

Part Time – Flexible hours. Minimum of one year previous route / Delivery experience required to be considered for position. Responsibilities include: transporting and delivering materials within specified route; Inspecting supplies, equipment, verifying load against shipping papers. Job Requirements Ability to drive manual transmission / stick shift is a plus. Able to drive a 26 ft. box truck and van body A GED or High School diploma is required You must have legal work status and able to provide documentation Pass Department of Transportation (DOT) physical Be able to consistently lift and move 50-150 lbs Depending on your route, you will need to wake up early each morning. Routes start at 5:00 - 6:30am and sometimes end late in the evening. Typically 8 -14 hour days 1-3 days a week. Most Routes are Day Routes; some scheduled routes are OTR and require an overnight stay(s). Clean driving record with a valid driver’s license You must be able to drive at least 500 miles outside of Chattanooga. AVM deliveries are done with AVM vehicles; however you must have reliable transportation to and from work. If you have ever been charged with DUI or DWI, or have had a suspended license in the last 5 years, you will not qualify for this position . You must be able to speak and deal with customers on a regular basis.
