About Beachside VR Beachside Vacation Rentals (a part of Stayd) is a performance-driven, technology-forward hospitality company managing a growing portfolio of short-term rental homes along Florida's Space Coast. The Role We're looking for a Part-Time Vacation Rental Inspector to be the final set of eyes before guests arrive. This role is perfect for someone who notices the crooked pillow from across the room, catches the missing wine opener before check-in, and can quickly identify what matters most to get homes guest-ready on time. You'll spend your days visiting vacation homes along the Space Coast, inspecting turnovers, catching issues before guests do, communicating with our teams in real-time, and helping us deliver consistently exceptional stays. What You'll Be Doing Inspecting Homes Like a Pro Conduct detailed pre-arrival inspections before guest check-in Ensure homes are clean, staged correctly, and fully guest-ready Check kitchens, bathrooms, linens, patios, high-touch surfaces, under furniture, and all the details guests notice Identify cleaning misses, maintenance concerns, damages, or missing inventory Using Our Tech Stack Review and complete inspection tasks in Breezeway Document issues clearly with notes and photos Communicate updates through Slack and operational systems in real-time Coordinating Quick Fixes Flag re-cleans or urgent corrections before guest arrival Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and guest experience teams Help ensure turnovers stay on schedule during busy days Protecting the Guest Experience Be the final quality checkpoint before every arrival Help us maintain the standards that keep guests returning and owners happy Who You Are Detail-oriented and efficient Reliable, proactive, and self-motivated Comfortable working independently and moving between multiple properties Able to communicate clearly and professionally Tech-friendly and quick to learn systems like Breezeway and Slack Someone who takes pride in making things feel right Bonus points if you: Have experience in vacation rentals, hotels, housekeeping, or home staging Love organization and operational efficiency Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work in a fast-paced, field-based environment Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed Ability to lift, bend, walk properties, and move quickly between homes Schedule & Compensation Part-time position Flexible scheduling Typical working hours are between 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM $17/hour (we offer fuel reimbursement for high travel days) Opportunity for growth within operations and hospitality leadership If you're the type of person who walks into a hotel room and immediately notices dust on the baseboards we should probably talk.
