New Swiss company starting up in Houston and we are seeking reliable and motivated warehouse staff to join our team.The ideal candidate will assist with the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring the smooth handling of goods, inventory, and order fulfilment.Warehouse staff will be responsible for performing various tasks Key Responsibilities:Receiving and Unloading:Receive and unload deliveries from suppliers and vendors, ensuring the goods are checked and inspected for accuracy and quality.Inventory Management:Assist in tracking inventory levels and ensure products are properly labeled, stored, and organized within the warehouse, and manage new batches Order Fulfilment:Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements ensuring timely and accurate delivery.Shipping:Prepare shipping labels, arrange for transportation, and ensure that all outgoing shipments meet company standards.Safety Compliance:Follow warehouse safety guidelines, maintain a clean work environment, and adhere to company policies for safe handling and storage of products.Equipment Operation:Safely operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks) as required to move goods.Qualifications:Education:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Experience:Previous warehouse or working with plastic resin experience is a plus but not required.On-the-job training will be provided.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and walking.Skills:Basic math skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Technical Skills:Basic understanding of warehouse management systems and ability to operate basic machinery.Licensing/Certification:Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to be trained).Working Conditions:Part-time positions available with an option to lead into full-time.Shifts will be Monday- Friday Benefits:Competitive hourly wage with possible opportunities for overtime pay.Career advancement within the company.Pay:$13.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits:On-the-job training Opportunities for advancement Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred) Work Location:In person.
