Job SummaryWe are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment.Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and productive environment by performing routine maintenance, working with third-party contractors to ensure the property is safe, compliant, and well-maintained.Respond and attend to guest repair requests.Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues.Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.Carry equipment (e.g., tools, radio).Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs for building.Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC systems, lighting, and guest rooms.Ensure safety protocols are followed Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance.Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders.Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs for buildings.Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.Assure each day's activities and problems that occur are communicated to the other shifts using approved communication programs and standards.Qualifications Proven experience in facilities or building maintenance with a strong mechanical knowledge base Ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately Excellent communication skills for clear documentation and team coordination Related Work Experience:Extensive experience and training in general maintenance (advanced repairs), electrical or refrigeration, Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to keeping our facilities running smoothly!
