_ _ __ Job description The Parts Counter Sales Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $17.00 and $18.00. The position may also pay commission compensation which is based on the value or amount of closed sales achieved from $0.00 (if no sales are made) without any upper limit other than sales performance. The position also may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit ** _ _** Position Purpose The Parts Counterperson is responsible for determining and accurately supplying parts to meet the needs of technicians and all retail/wholesale customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for qualifying customer’s needs and selling parts and accessories accurately and properly for completing sales and inventory records. Provide courteous, professional and efficient service to all customers and at the same time promote the benefits of using genuine factory parts. Solicit retail and wholesale parts business. Actively solicit sales through the use of brochures, merchandise displays, and provide suggestive selling of service related parts in conjunction with the service department. Responsible for ordering parts and accessories as requested or directed; for stocking and inventorying parts and accessories as required or directed. Handle telephone, fax, email orders and requests for information and parts as well as over-the-counter customers.
