Parts Specialist Position Overview We are a highly respected, fast-paced independent automotive repair facility specializing in Domestic, Asian, and European vehicles. We are seeking an experienced, organized, and motivated Parts Specialist who thrives in a high-volume environment and understands the importance of speed, accuracy, teamwork, and exceptional service. The ideal candidate must be dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of sourcing high-quality parts efficiently while supporting technicians and service advisors to keep workflow moving smoothly. Key Responsibilities Source, order, and verify automotive parts for Domestic, Asian, and European vehicles Work closely with technicians and service advisors to ensure accurate parts selection Maintain fast turnaround times to support shop productivity and technician efficiency Research hard-to-find and specialty European vehicle parts Verify pricing, availability, warranties, and delivery times with vendors Receive, inspect, label, and organize incoming parts and returns Manage cores, warranties, and vendor returns accurately and efficiently Maintain inventory control and monitor stock levels for commonly used parts Ensure all parts are billed correctly on repair orders Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize pricing and delivery performance Assist in maintaining profitability through proper margins and cost control Communicate delays, backorders, or issues proactively with the service team Keep the parts department clean, organized, and professional at all times Support shop operations with urgency, professionalism, and teamwork Qualifications Previous automotive parts experience required Strong knowledge of Domestic, Asian, and European vehicles Experience using parts catalogs, estimating systems, and shop management software Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume repair environment Excellent organizational and communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work under pressure and prioritize efficiently Professional attitude and team-oriented mindset Valid driver’s license with clean driving record preferred Preferred Experience European vehicle parts experience (BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen, Land Rover, etc.) Knowledge of aftermarket and OEM parts sourcing Familiarity with Worldpac, Dealer Parts Systems, Nexpart, or similar platforms Inventory management experience What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Stable, long-term career opportunity High-energy and professional work environment Opportunity for growth and advancement Team-oriented culture with strong leadership support Modern, well-equipped facility Paid holidays and benefits available What We Expect Reliability and punctuality Strong work ethic and sense of urgency Positive attitude and professionalism Commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction Ability to contribute to a high-performing team environment Join a shop that takes pride in quality workmanship, outstanding customer service, and a strong reputation built over years of excellence in the automotive industry.
