Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with selecting baked goods, pastries, and other bakery items Prepare and assemble food products, including cake decorating, pastry filling, and food presentation Package baked goods efficiently while maintaining quality standards and proper food handling procedures Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area, including equipment, counters, and display cases Support food production tasks such as mixing ingredients, baking, and decorating to ensure fresh offerings throughout the day Handle cash register operations and process transactions accurately Follow all food safety regulations and hygiene standards to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers Requirements Prior experience in food preparation, baking, or the food industry is highly preferred Skills in cake decorating, pastry making, and general baking techniques Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Experience with packaging baked goods for retail sale or catering is a plus Kitchen experience in a restaurant or catering setting is advantageous This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their culinary expertise while delivering exceptional service.
