Job OverviewWe are seeking a passionate Baker to join our team here at Luxe Latte.We recently expanded to serve couture donuts! This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft incredible from-scratch donuts.As a key member of our kitchen, you will bring creativity, precision, and enthusiasm to every donut, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.This position is perfect for someone eager to showcase their pastry skills in a vibrant, fast-paced environment while contributing to a team that values culinary excellence.Shifts start at 6am and last approximately 10 hours, which makes for a 4-day full time schedule.Responsibilities Prepare and bake a variety of donuts with attention to detail and presentation standards Manage food production processes efficiently, ensuring consistency in quality and taste Package baked goods attractively for retail display or catering orders, maintaining food safety standards Assist in food preparation tasks such as mixing, measuring, and assembling ingredients for various items Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food handling and safety regulations Support catering events by preparing special orders and ensuring timely delivery to meet event needs Handle food with care, adhering to proper food safety protocols at all times Collaborate with team members to innovate new recipes and improve existing offerings Experience Proven pastry experience in a bakery, restaurant, or catering environment with a strong portfolio of decorated goods Hands-on experience with food production, preparation, packaging, and presentation in the food industry Knowledge of food handling safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices Familiarity with culinary tools such as knives, mixers, piping bags, molds, and baking equipment Experience working in fast-paced restaurant or catering settings is highly desirable Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment Join us if you're ready to turn your passion for baking into artful creations that excite taste buds!
