Job Description
Pastry Cook – The Americano The Americano is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Pastry Cook to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, creativity, and consistency, with a strong foundation in pastry techniques. Responsibilities: Execute daily production of desserts, breads, and pastry items according to recipes and standards. Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation for all plated desserts and pastry menu items. Assist in prep for special events, features, and seasonal menu changes. Uphold cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen and storage areas. Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times. Work collaboratively with the pastry team and BOH staff to ensure smooth service. Qualifications: Previous pastry or baking experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate with a strong work ethic and desire to learn. Knowledge of pastry fundamentals (doughs, custards, mousses, chocolate work, etc.) a plus. Ability to follow precise recipes and standards with consistency. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Positive attitude, reliability, and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
