Company Description Folio is a platform for physicians to discover and get matched to side gigs like startup consulting, AI training, prior auth review, and more. In addition to discovering new opportunities, healthcare professionals work directly with Folio to train healthcare AI models to be more intelligent and safer. Role Description This is a contract-based remote role for a Pathologist, requiring a commitment of 20 hours per week over a 2-week project. The goal is to produce high-quality labeled data (ground truth) to train and validate ML models. The project will involve approximately 300 surgical pathology reports, with ~40 features extracted per report. Pancreatic cancer experience required. What You’ll Do Review short lab report excerpts and provide a brief written clinical interpretation in response to a question. Key extraction areas include: metadata & procedure details, tumor characteristics (diagnosis, histology, grade, size, spread), resection quality (lymph nodes, margins), staging & treatment (TNM stage, therapy, treatment effect) Project Details Total time commitment: ~40 hours Timeline: ~2-3 weeks Start date: ASAP Location: Fully remote
