Patient Accounts Specialist

A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Representative. Key Responsibilities Process credit balances and invoices, ensuring proper documentation for refunds Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and reports related to accounts receivable Communicate with insurance carriers to obtain necessary documentation and resolve discrepancies Required Qualifications Education equivalent to completion of the 12th grade or a GED A minimum of one year of medical billing experience with a focus on accounts receivable Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with IDX-BAR preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
