OverviewHello! We're a caring family seeking a kind, patient, intelligent female mentor/companion (ideally in her 20s-early 30s) to support our wonderful 21-year-old daughter as she builds confidence and independence.A bit about her:She's incredibly sweet, positive, and motivated--she attends college full-time and is eager to improve her life skills.Due to seizures in her younger years, she has some learning disabilities that affect executive functioning, confidence, and daily independence, but she's fully capable, verbal, and functions well overall with gentle guidance.She thrives with encouragement, structure, and a supportive friend-like presence.if you have administrative or office experience and would like to do assist with administrative and personal errands we could potentially turn this into a full time position.Responsibilities Provide personalized life skills coaching to enhance daily living, social interactions, and independence.Drive her to/from school, cook/prep meals together, help with homework/organization, practice life skills (e.g., time management, self-advocacy, daily routines), provide companionship and encouragement, and support outings/activities.Implement/Assist with college-related activities, including, managing schedules.Implement behavioral therapy strategies rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to promote positive behaviors and skill development.Qualifications Prior experience working with children or young adults with learning disabilities.Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, ABA principles, and special education practices.Compassionate attitude with excellent patience and communication skills.This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a young woman's life who is eager to learn and grow with the right mentor.We're looking for someone reliable, fun, and genuinely caring who can build a trusting, positive relationship.Pay:$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) Paid time off Work Location:In person.
