Conducts rounds for the delivery and pickup of supplies, records, specimens, x-rays, orders, and equipment. Promptly responds to stat calls and meets requests of clinical staff. Assists in handling calls regarding violent patients and supports in take down procedures. Remains accessible at all times and offers help to alleviate heavy transitional workloads. Informs patients of relevant procedures. Performs stocking duties and reports any mechanical malfunctions to staff. Transports patient valuables/belongings and accompanies the patient. Maintains department stretchers and wheelchairs in patient-ready condition and safely manages oxygen tanks. Other duties as assigned.
