OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and skilled Paving Screed Operator to join our construction team.In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating paving screeds and related heavy equipment to ensure smooth, durable asphalt surfaces.Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality paving projects efficiently and safely.This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing mechanical knowledge and construction experience to contribute to impactful infrastructure developments.Responsibilities Operate paver and other heavy machinery lay asphalt or concrete surfaces with precision.Manage pumps, and finishing tools to achieve optimal surface quality and smoothness.Conduct routine inspections of equipment to maintain safety standards and operational efficiency.Coordinate with team members on site to execute paving plans accurately while adhering to safety protocols.Support the setup and breakdown of construction zones, including moving materials with commercial vehicles and loaders.Follow all safety procedures during operation, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to site regulations.Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.Knowledge of construction site safety practices and ability to work effectively in dynamic environments.Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced construction settings.Join us in shaping the future of infrastructure by applying your expertise in paving operations!
