Description POSITION DESCRIPTION The Payment Processing Analyst is responsible for validating and execution of different incentive rebate and commission payments. This includes a strict overview of factors like data entry, data integrity, and data completeness. In addition to verifying payment information, the Payment Processing Analyst will ensure strict quality assurance over factors like reporting and automation accuracy. This position requires strong collaboration with Financial Planning teams to ensure strict adherence to Company guidelines and approvals. In addition, this position communicates with internal stakeholders regarding payment status and inquiries while resolving issues as needed. This role includes maintaining organized payment documentation for compliance with audit and regulatory requirements and providing service support related to payment and reporting. This position reports to the Manager of Payment Processing or another senior management personnel that the President of the Company may designate. This position will be based out of our office in Irvine, CA with a potential in-office schedule set at the direct manager’s discretion in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES Calculate reward & commission earnings on a monthly basis for various incentive programs. Work directly with technology teams to ensure automation calibration. Assist in the quality assurance reviews associated to incentive program reporting Frequent check ins with Financial Planning teams to ensure proper approval flows are followed. Perform business support, data organizing and coordination skills, and/or tasks based on established procedures. Verify the accuracy of payment information, such as invoice amounts, payment terms, and recipient details. Accurately process the information provided using the posting rules and guidelines set forth by the client. Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding payment status, inquiries, or disputes, aiding and resolving any issues as needed. Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation related to payments, including invoices, receipts, and other financial records, ensuring compliance with audit and regulatory requirements. Process enhancement as it relates to automation and develops standardized procedures and practices. Work with a moderate degree of supervision. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum of 5+ years of professional work experience including 4+ years of work experience in data integrity, data analysis, or a related field. Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, Salesforce, or similar CRM/data management systems Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders High level of accuracy and attention to detail when working with complex data and records. Ability to maintain organized and structured data within CRM systems and databases. Strong time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to internal processes, systems, and office operations. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Familiarity with financial software and systems Understanding of basic-intermediate financial principles Understanding audit and regulatory requirements related to payments and financial records.
