Payroll Accountant

A company is looking for a Payroll Accountant to manage the accounting aspects of its global payroll function. Key Responsibilities Oversee the preparation, review, and posting of payroll journal entries across multiple countries Ensure accurate data flow from various payroll platforms into the accounting system, resolving any discrepancies Perform account reconciliations and support month-end and quarter-end close activities related to payroll Required Qualifications BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus 4-7 years of progressive accounting experience, particularly in payroll accounting within a high-growth environment Hands-on experience with NetSuite and familiarity with multiple payroll systems Strong understanding of US GAAP and payroll tax regulations, including multi-country payroll accounting Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and ability to manage large data sets
