Are you a detail-oriented professional with expertise in payroll and benefits administration? We’re looking for a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, compliance, and delivering exceptional service while managing payroll, benefits, and HR systems for a diverse workforce. What You’ll Do Payroll Administration Process bi-weekly payroll for a multi-state workforce using a leading payroll system. Manage payroll actions, including new hires, terminations, wage garnishments, and tax filings. Audit payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Lead year-end payroll activities, including W-2 and ACA reporting. Benefits Administration Administer a variety of employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and more. Manage benefit enrollments, open enrollment, and qualifying life events. Audit benefit invoices and resolve issues with carriers and vendors. Provide employees with guidance on benefit programs and options. Leave of Absence Administration Administer leaves of absence, including FMLA and other state-specific programs. Track leave usage, coordinate benefits continuation, and ensure compliance. Respond to claims and documentation requests related to employee leaves. Compliance & Reporting Complete regulatory reporting, including ACA, EEO-1, and other required filings. Maintain accurate employee records and respond to verification requests. Ensure confidentiality and data integrity in all processes. Collaboration & Support Partner with HR and leadership teams to ensure seamless payroll and benefits processes. Support HR projects and initiatives as needed. What You Bring Experience: 5+ years of payroll and benefits administration experience, preferably in a compliance-driven environment. Knowledge: Strong understanding of payroll systems, benefits programs, and employment laws. Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Tech Savvy: Proficiency in payroll and HRIS systems, as well as Microsoft Office tools. Bonus: Bilingual skills and/or certifications in payroll or benefits administration are a plus.
