Position Details: Location: Monroe, OH – 100% On-Site Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Compensation: Up to $70,000/year + comprehensive benefits upon conversion Responsibilities: This role touches every part of the payroll and benefits cycle for a 500+ employee workforce: Full-cycle weekly payroll processing—accuracy, compliance, and timely execution Wage garnishments, child support orders, tax updates, and discrepancy resolution Timekeeping system oversight, including employee and manager support HRIS data integrity through routine audits and accurate record maintenance Payroll and HR reporting via Paycor, including ad hoc requests Benefits enrollment support, open enrollment coordination, and employee communications EDI feed monitoring and benefit invoice reconciliation Weekly 401(k) contribution and loan repayment processing Tuition reimbursement administration and new hire orientation participation Qualifications: 1–3 years of payroll, HR, or accounting support experience Demonstrated experience running payroll for 500+ employees Benefits administration background Hands-on experience with an HRIS or payroll platform (Paycor experience a plus) Working knowledge of payroll compliance—FLSA, tax withholdings, garnishments Strong Excel skills and proficiency across Microsoft Office High attention to detail, discretion with confidential data, and ability to work independently Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, HR, or related field preferred Interested?
