Position Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Specialist to manage and process weekly payroll for our workforce, with a focus on job-specific pay rates, union requirements, and compliance with construction industry standards.This role works closely with HR and Accounting to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll operations.For You:100% Employer Paid Medical 401k PTO Paid Holidays Key Responsibilities:Review and process employee timesheets, ensuring proper application of job classifications, union rates, and prevailing wage requirements.Accurately enter and maintain payroll data within the payroll system.Maintain up-to-date and organized payroll records and documentation.Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and related concerns in a timely and professional manner.Prepare and support various payroll reports and analyses as needed.Collaborate with HR and Accounting teams to support seamless payroll operations.Prepare and submit certified payroll and other regulatory reports in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements.Contribute to ongoing payroll process improvements, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency across departments.Qualifications:2-4 years of hands-on payroll processing experience required; construction industry experience strongly preferred.Solid understanding of union payroll rules, certified payroll reporting, and prevailing wage laws.Proficiency in federal, state, and local wage and tax regulations.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service mindset.Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments to resolve payroll issues and streamline processes.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience:ADP:3 years (Required) Union Payroll:2 years (Required) Work Location:In person.
