Optimum HR has been voted one of Orange County's Best Places to Work for the past 9 years and we are seeking a full time Payroll Support Professional to join our team.Optimum HR provides small and midsize companies with comprehensive human resources servicessupport.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fun, fast-paced and growing company.This position is in person and will be located out of our Santa Ana/Tustin office.The Payroll Support Professional supports the Payroll department with payroll packaging and administrative tasks which may include:Review, print, and organize all payroll packaging reports and checks daily Payroll shipment and payroll check verification Answer, help, and/or transfer client service line calls Garnishment and uncleared check processing Lost check verification and research Mail termination checks and documentation (UI books, Notice forms, etc) Manage worksite location setup, termination any mismatches Electronic child support communication Backup for payroll client report requests Order workers compensation certificates as requested Complete new hire entries as needed Deposit incoming Optimum checks and mail out checks or other requested items as needed W2's - employee requests, returned W2s and client W2 report requests Employee system login support Backup support for Service Administrative Professional Assist with additional projects as needed Requirements to be successful in this role:Bachelor's degree and at least one year of office experience preferred.Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.Exceptional customer service skills.Strong organization and time management skills with high attention to detail.Ability to complete projects independently during set work hours with minimal supervision.Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet required deadlines.Ability to take initiative and use good judgment.Excellent written (i.e.writing, grammar, etc.) and oral communication skills (i.e.ability to deal effectively with others, speak professionally on the phone, etc.).Team player that embraces Optimum's core values.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.The salary range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00 an hour.In addition, we offer a generous benefits package, a monthly office commuting stipend and an excellent corporate culture.Final compensation will be based upon factors such as geographic location, skills, experience and/or education.Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth..
