Strong focus on innovation, compliance, and continuous improvement. What You'll Be Doing As a Payroll Tax Analyst Ensure accurate and timely processing of federal, state and local payroll taxes. Maintain compliance with multi-state payroll tax regulations an reporting requirements. Reconcile payroll tax accounts and investigate discrepancies. Prepare and file payroll tax returns (quarterly and annual). Monitor tax notices and respond to inquiries from government agencies. Partner with payroll, HR, and finance teams to ensure proper tax treatment of wages and benefits. Support year-end processes including W-2 preparation and distribution. Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed. Identify opportunities to improve payroll tax processes and systems. Preferred Qualifications Of The Payroll Tax Analyst 3-6 years of payroll tax experience, preferably in multi-state environment. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations. experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, or similar platforms). Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities. High attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to manage deadlines in a deadline-driven environment.
