Requisition ID 2025-52068 Location: US-IN-Indianapolis Specialty: Pediatrician/Pediatric Hospitalist Position Type: Full Time HR Rep / Recruiter: Ashley Coggin Contact ashley.coggin@pediatrix.com Overview Pediatric Hospitalist - Indianapolis, IN Responsibilities Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Hospitalist to provide exceptional inpatient care for infants, children, and adolescents across Indiana, in the Indianapolis area. Join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team where you'll manage a diverse range of cases?from acute medical conditions to surgical consults?ensuring every patient receives comprehensive, compassionate, and high-quality care. Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct inpatient care, including daily rounds, admissions, and discharges Interpret diagnostic studies, prescribe medications, and oversee individualized treatment plans Perform essential pediatric procedures such as IV placement, lumbar punctures, and resuscitations Collaborate closely with subspecialists, surgeons, and primary care providers to ensure coordinated, seamless care Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and support resident education and mentorship Practice Highlights: Care delivery within a Level II NICU / Special Care Nursery environment Out-of-house call model supporting strong work-life balance Structured 24-hour shift schedule Collaborative, team-oriented culture with strong clinical support Qualifications MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics. Active or eligible Indiana medical license. Strong clinical and communication skills; commitment to family-centered care.
