Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) Charleston OT/ST | Charleston, SC About the Role Charleston OT/ST is hiring a Pediatric Occupational Therapist who is passionate about helping children and families achieve meaningful outcomes through individualized, root-cause-focused care. This role is ideal for an OT who values clinical excellence, collaboration, growth, and delivering high-quality therapy that creates lasting change for families. We provide services across 3 clinic locations and in natural environments (homes/daycares), with optional opportunities to treat adult clients. Key Responsibilities Clinical Excellence Evaluate and treat pediatric clients using individualized, results-driven plans Identify and address root causes of delay (sensory, motor, primitive reflexes, etc.) Deliver engaging, functional therapy that drives measurable outcomes Educate and empower families for strong carryover at home Complete documentation accurately and within company expectations Collaboration & Team Culture Collaborate with speech therapists and interdisciplinary team members Participate in mentorship, training, and ongoing professional development Maintain strong communication with families and team members Support a positive, accountable, and solutions-oriented culture Assist with clinic workflows and productivity expectations What We’re Looking For Strong clinical reasoning with ability to think beyond symptoms High level of ownership, accountability, and follow-through Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Growth mindset with openness to feedback and development Passion for helping children and families achieve meaningful progress Qualifications Active South Carolina Occupational Therapy license (required) Pediatric OT experience preferred NBCOT certification Physical Requirements Ability to engage in active, movement-based therapy (floor play, lifting, assisting children) Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to ~50 lbs Diversity Commitment As an equal opportunity employer committed to serving a diverse community, Charleston OT/ST values and actively fosters inclusion across our team and client population.
