Join BrightStar Care of Leesburg and Gainesville as a Compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)! We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care for two wonderful pediatric client's in Woodbridge, VA and Lorton, VA.This is a great opportunity for someone with excellent communication skills who is proactive in delivering high-quality patient care.The ideal candidates will have experience in homecare and be calm under pressure, especially in challenging situations.Training will be provided by the current nurses overseeing the case.Schedule:Thursday-Friday from 6:30am to 6:30pm Thursday-Friday from 7:30am to 12:30pm Thursday-Friday from 4:30pm to 7:00pm Saturday from 8am to 5pm Start Date:As soon as possible.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive pay! Weekly Pay 401k with a company match of up to 6%! Required Skills:Experience working with pediactric clients.Proficient in using a trach/vent care.Knowledge of seizure precautions and major fall risks.A strong understanding of confidentiality and best nursing practices.Expertise in ADLS and G-tube.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Current LPN or RN VA or Compact License in good standing.Compassionate, with the ability to manage stress and challenging situations.Key Responsibilities:Accurately record medical history and vital statistics (blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.).Monitor patient progress and identify potential side effects of treatments or medications.Track patient conditions, including fluid intake/output, and maintain detailed charts.Assist with daily activities such as eating, bathing, and dressing.Administer medications, injections, enemas, and provide wound care.Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.Maintain open communication with family members to provide comfort and instruction.Why BrightStar Care?
