Job Description

This is a full-time contract position, offering 40 hours per week throughout the entire year. As an essential partner to educational teams near Alpharetta, you'll deliver valuable services to help students thrive academically and socially. Key Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Valid and current state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Strong skills and experience with pediatric populations, especially in educational settings Previous work supporting students in school environments Solid grasp of current best practices in evaluation, intervention, and documentation Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Primary Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and provide direct therapy for students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure continuity of speech and language services Monitor student progress, track outcomes, and maintain accurate, timely records Support mainstream and special education classrooms with strategies and resources Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and professional development initiatives Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student growth and confidence This contract position offers a consistent year-round schedule, ideal for those who are passionate about making a meaningful, ongoing impact in the lives of children.
