Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact supporting students across elementary, middle, and high schools as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis. This rewarding position serves schools in the vibrant northern suburbs, just a short drive from both Atlanta and Decatur. Whether you prefer full-time hours or are seeking a flexible, part-time schedule, your expertise is needed to provide essential speech and language services to a diverse student population. You’ll collaborate closely with a welcoming team of fellow SLPs and SLPAs, and you’ll enjoy the benefit of focusing solely on clinical care—no Medicaid billing is required. This role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with students while potentially utilizing teletherapy skills as well. Desired Experience & Qualifications Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure and ASHA CCC (CFY candidates encouraged to apply) Experience with school-aged children (elementary, middle, and/or high school) Familiarity with educational IEP processes and documentation Comfort with teletherapy platforms a plus Team-oriented mindset and strong communication abilities Key Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of communication disorders in K-12 students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with general education teachers, special educators, families, and other SLPs/SLPAs Provide therapy both in-person and, when applicable, via virtual platforms Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring Why You’ll Love This Opportunity Multiple school sites with full SLP/SLPA support No Medicaid billing requirements Flexibility to choose full-time (40 hours/week) or a part-time schedule Opportunity to work in bustling communities known for their family-friendly environments Take the next step in your SLP career while making a difference.
