Pediatrician - Bronx, NY (#3416) Location: Bronx, NYEmployment Type: Full-timeSalary: $190,000 - $235,000/yr Position Overview We are currently seeking a Pediatrician to fill an opening with a multi-specialty practice located in the Bronx, New York. Qualifications: Education: MD from an accredited medical school. Licensure: Must have a New York State medical license. Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics. Experience: Open to new grads. Technical Skills: Proficient in performing pediatric physical examinations, administering immunizations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and utilizing electronic health records. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when working with children and families, strong clinical judgment, empathy, patience, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive pediatric care, including routine well-child visits, developmental screenings, immunizations, and preventive health education. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic childhood illnesses and conditions such as respiratory infections, asthma, allergies, gastrointestinal disorders, and infectious diseases. Monitor and track growth and developmental milestones from infancy through adolescence. Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests and laboratory results. Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans appropriate for pediatric patients. Educate parents and caregivers on nutrition, safety, injury prevention, disease management, and age-appropriate developmental expectations. Coordinate care with pediatric specialists and other healthcare professionals within the multi-specialty practice. Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in electronic medical records. Provide compassionate, family-centered care that addresses the physical, emotional, and social needs of pediatric patients and their families.
