Peer Mentor

JOB Performs mentoring services to at-risk youth and related work as apparent or assigned. Mentor Advocate (MA) position is responsible for proving direct service to youth in small groups and individual settings within Randolph County. The MA is responsible for planning the activities and during these outings the MA has the opportunity to develop personal management staff to ensure positive youth development. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Day Reporting Center Executive Director. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Associates/Technical degree with coursework in human services, criminology, substance abuse, criminal justice, or related field and less than one year experience working with the public, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
