Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A retail pharmacy is seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care on a per diem basis. This role offers the flexibility to support pharmacy operations during regular business hours in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities include accurately dispensing medications, counseling patients on proper medication use, verifying prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. You will work alongside one pharmacy technician, managing a daily prescription volume of 60-70 to maintain smooth workflow and patient satisfaction. Pharmacy Hours Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Saturday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Qualifications / Desired Experience Active California Pharmacist License is required Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills Familiarity with pharmacy management systems; experience with Datascan is a plus but not mandatory Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Location: Torrance, California This per diem opportunity is ideal for pharmacists seeking flexible scheduling and a chance to contribute to a busy retail setting with consistent prescription volume.
