A retail pharmacy in Chicago, IL is seeking a Spanish-speaking Pharmacy Technician to provide exceptional patient support and prescription assistance. This per diem opportunity offers a flexible schedule of 2-3 days per week, ideal for professionals looking to balance work with other commitments. Location: Chicago, IL Schedule Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Friday and Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM Sundays: Closed Responsibilities Accurately fill and dispense 50-75 prescriptions daily Perform over-the-counter (OTC) duties and assist customers with product inquiries Provide friendly and effective patient communication in Spanish, both in-person and over the phone Support retail operations and maintain a clean, organized workspace Handle patient calls and assist with questions regarding prescriptions and pharmacy services Qualifications Valid Illinois Pharmacy Technician license required Spanish fluency is essential for effective patient communication Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification preferred but not mandatory Retail pharmacy experience is highly desirable; motivated new graduates eager to learn are welcome The pharmacy uses the Best Rx system and is willing to provide training to candidates who are not yet experienced with it.
