Per Diem Weekend Reception Assistant

Job Overview Advanced Medical Providers – White Plains, NY Advanced Medical Providers is seeking a dependable and professional per diem weekend assistant/receptionist local to White Plains, NY to support our medical team during upcoming Veteran Compensation & Pension examination clinic dates. Assistant must be available Saturday and Sunday, availability and hours will vary each month. This is a great opportunity for nursing students, pre-nursing students, medical assistants, or individuals interested in gaining experience in a clinical healthcare environment while working alongside a Physician Assistant serving Veterans. Role Responsibilities Include Greeting and checking in Veteran patients upon arrival Verifying patient identification and date of birth to match our records Assisting with basic front desk coordination and patient flow Our Physician Assistant will be onsite performing disability examinations for Veterans seeking Compensation & Pension benefits through the VA process. This opportunity may be especially beneficial for nursing or pre-nursing students interested in gaining healthcare exposure, patient interaction experience, and working alongside a medical provider in a professional clinical environment. A basic CV, driver's license, and HIPAA certification will be required; however, the HIPAA certification can easily be completed online before the assignment.
