Department: Performance Improvement Shift: Day Working Hours: 8-5 Summary The Performance Improvement Analyst II is a member of the Performance Improvement Team, which is dedicated to the systematic evaluation and adaptation of functions, processes, services, and clinical practices across the Baptist Health system. The goal is to achieve desired outcomes, better meet patient and community needs, and improve financial performance. This role is responsible for the daily maintenance of project management and tracking functions, including: initiative tracking, project prioritization, opportunity identification, and data interpretation, analytics, and problem-solving, along with proficient growth in the wide spectrum of healthcare finance functions. This staff level position works closely with Performance Improvement Team Leadership, Operational Leadership, and other finance positions. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, a desire to learn, and high-level communication and technological skills, with the ability to work in teams and sometimes with minimal oversight on less complex projects. Other information Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or Information Technology with one to two years of progressive work experience in health care finance preferred, or proven ability to meet the responsibilities of this position approved by senior management. Strong Microsoft Office Suite and system analysis skills required, with significant proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides), Microsoft SQL, Tableau, and Epic is preferred. Ability to effectively interact with accountable department leadership and staff, in addition to the remainder of the organization This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
