The Company PlugPV is a turnkey residential and commercial solar energy provider. We are a small, high impact team dedicated to the deployment of solar electric systems for homeowners and small businesses throughout the US. We are data driven, action oriented, creative thinkers looking to accomplish our goal! The Position The Compliance Coordinator is a mission critical role within the organization. This individual is responsible for the processing of all company permitting, submitting for utility approvals, and submitting for applicable rebates and/or incentives offered for solar installations. You will work internal teams and external partners to obtain the necessary approvals for each new project. This role will be comprised of time spent predominantly in the office working with internal teams, jurisdictions, utilities, and. Additional duties as needed. Key Responsibilities: Own preparation, submission, and follow-up on permit, interconnection, and rebate approvals Act as the main point of contact for internal teams for updates on approvals for specific projects Coordinate cross-functionally with the design team, project managers, and external partners to drive speedy project approvals. Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks such as permitting delays, utility interconnection issues, or change orders while keeping all stakeholders informed. Handle additional duties as needed to support company growth. What You’ll Bring: Requirements 1+ years of permitting and/or utility application experience in residential solar, construction, roofing, or a related field. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong organization and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar), Google Workspace/Microsoft Office, cloud-based tools, and web-based software platforms. Self-starter mentality with a natural sense of urgency, ownership, and drive to succeed in a dynamic environment. Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, high-velocity setting. Preferred Experience with solar-specific approval processes: local permitting, utility interconnection applications, and state incentive programs.
