We’re seeking a talented and versatile Persistence Communications Manager to join our high-performing Product & UX Technology team. Every day you will make a difference in the lives of others by designing, implementing, evaluating and managing targeted communication campaigns and experiences aligned with student persistence and success goals. Your efforts will include reaching national and international audiences through various engagement channels. You will possess the technical expertise to create, deploy and measure mass communication campaigns and will manage multiple campaigns in coordination with project leads and stakeholders, reporting back results to leadership and client units. NOTE: This is an in-person, hybrid position. You must be able to reliably commute to Scottsdale, AZ. Essential Duties: Design & execute communication strategies to improve student understanding of complex processes (e.g., financial aid): Develop and implement communication flows that simplify and demystify complex processes and lead to student/learner task completion. Create personalized and segmented communication campaigns that proactively address common student questions and barriers, helping students navigate critical deadlines and requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure messaging is clear, accessible, highly customized and tailored to specific student populations. Use data-driven insights to identify pain points in student understanding and design campaigns that directly address these areas for improved comprehension and engagement. In coordination with multiple stakeholders, manage communication flows related to graduation and other keystone moments of the student experience. Design communication strategies to improve student outcomes: Partner with career services and employer stakeholders to develop communications that connect students to career resources, skill development programs, and networking opportunities. Focus efforts on delivering on the promise of hyper-personalization and mass 1:1 experiences, inclusive of communication efforts. Highlight alumni success stories and pathways to employment in key industries to inspire, motivate and delight students. Track and analyze engagement with ROI and career-focused communication to continually optimize messaging and delivery methods for maximum impact. Design communication strategies to improve student registration and persistence toward graduation: Design campaigns that encourage timely course registration and help students overcome obstacles that may delay their academic progress. Incorporate college-specific resources, events, and academic opportunities into messaging to build a stronger connection between students and their academic home. Implement targeted messaging strategies to re-engage students at risk of stopping out and guide them back toward academic momentum.
