Employment Information Location: Burbank, Glendale & Surrounding areas Full & Part-Time: $20 / hour $500 sign on bonus! Mileage reimbursement $10/month cell phone stipend Evening / Overnight Shifts Benefits Health care benefits and PTO available if you transition to full time employment Discounts on Pet Insurance Cal-Savers retirement plan $500 bonus installed in two increments ($250 in first paycheck, $250 30 days after your first shift!) Your Responsibilities Support participants with daily living skills such as cleaning, cooking, budget management, and light household duties Following care plans and helping participants achieve their personal goals Encourage healthy habits, studies, hobbies, and social activities Assist participants access and participate in community activities Assist with personal care such as medication support, hygiene and bathing (lifting / transferring may be required) Collaborate Person-Centered Care planning with participant, staff and management Document shift and communication logs Who We’re Looking For Someone who is compassionate with a person-centered mindset Someone who has a warm, respectful, and professional demeanor Someone who is capable of communication with dignity and respect, especially during challenging moments A valid driver’s license Responsible, and can document goal progress tracking with detail DSP 1 & 2 certification (preferred, applicants who are not yet certified can take advantage of our internal certification programs) CPR / First Aid certification (Training will be provided if applicants are not certified or need to be recertified) Weekend Availability (Is a plus but not required) Who We Are People Creating Success (PCS) is a Californian leader in providing services for adults with developmental disabilities for over 20 years.
