Job Summary Foxx 1 Services is now hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in New Orleans. We are not a high-turnover agency. We are building a structured, high-standard caregiving team for in-home care. Starting compensation is $17 per hour, with opportunities for growth and advancement. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated CNA's to provide exceptional non- medical support and care to individuals in their homes. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patients’ health by checking vital signs, observing for changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately Provide medication reminders Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain clean and safe environments by performing light cleaning duties and ensuring infection control protocols are followed Support patients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs, ensuring safety during transfers Document care plans, patient observations, and any incidents in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies Skills Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Proven experience in home & community care or assisted living environments; group home experience is a plus Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and dementia or Alzheimer’s care Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate mobility aids like Hoyer lifts or transfer belts Familiarity with HIPAA privacy standards Strong communication skills for working effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or memory care needs CPR and First Aid certification required; additional certifications such as hospice care is advantageous Compassionate attitude combined with excellent organizational skills to follow care plans accurately Join us in delivering compassionate care that empowers individuals to live healthier, happier lives.
