Personal Care Assistant

Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a positive environment. Monitor patient health by observing changes in condition and reporting concerns to nursing staff. Help with mobility assistance, including transferring patients to and from beds or wheelchairs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient areas to ensure a safe environment. Document patient care activities accurately and timely as required by healthcare protocols. Qualifications Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant not necessary (Training will be provided) Knowledge of basic medical terminology related to geriatrics and emergency medicine is a plus. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations while maintaining compassion and professionalism. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Must be able to pass background checks as required by the facility policies. Certification in CPR or First Aid is preferred but not mandatory upon hiring. -Must be able to provide proof of citizenship. -TB test required.
