Personal Effects Specialists (Part- time)

Joint Technology Solution, Inc.(JTS), a veteran owned government contracting company, is currently hiring staff to process Personal Effects at Dover Air Force Base.We are currently seeking PART-TIME ON CALL Personal Effects Specialists to support, receive, safeguard, inventory, store, process, and make final disposition of personal effects of military and civilian casualties from overseas.Tasks Include: Perform all tasks related to the receipt, safeguarding, inventory, storage, process, and shipping of personal effects Clean and launder personal items as appropriate and in preparation for shipping Provide digital photography for documentation of personal effects Receive and ship personal effects to the family members/next-of-kin of all military service members and others who are killed or severely injured worldwide Qualifications: Prior experience providing high level of attention to detail in a multi-tasking environment Ability to remain calm during highly emotional or crisis situations Ability to work well with others in a military/contractor team environment Mature self-starter with compassion for members of the US Armed Forces and the families of those killed or severely injured Understanding that the amount of hours will change/reduce/increase based on the mission/operational environment Secret Clearance is required to start Prior experience with funeral/mortuary, military supply and logistics is preferred Job Type:Part-time Pay:$18.04 per hour Experience:DoD logistics:1 year (Required) Security clearance:Secret (Required) Work Location:In person.
