About Garber Legal PLLC Garber Legal PLLC has been providing dedicated legal services in New York City for 20 years.We are a well-established and dynamic firm committed to advocating for our clients and achieving justice in personal injury matters.Our success is built on a foundation of aggressive representation, profound legal expertise, and a compassionate approach to client care.We foster a collaborative environment where legal professionals can thrive and contribute to meaningful outcomes for those we serve.Job Summary Garber Legal PLLC is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Personal Injury Attorney to join our growing team.This is a pivotal role for a legal professional eager to take on significant responsibility, manage a diverse caseload, and directly contribute to client success.The ideal candidate will have substantial personal injury litigation experience and a strong commitment to advocating for plaintiffs.Responsibilities Manage all aspects of a personal injury litigation file from inception to resolution.This includes drafting and filing Summons and Complaint, Answer, discovery demands and responses, preparing for and conducting depositions (both plaintiff and defendant), handling motion practice, and making court appearances.Conduct legal research, analyze case facts, and develop effective legal strategies.Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies.Prepare for and represent clients in trials, arbitrations, and mediations as necessary.Maintain consistent and clear communication with clients, providing regular updates on their case status and explaining legal proceedings.Assume managing attorney responsibilities as needed, overseeing aspects of caseload progression and potentially mentoring junior staff.Ensure all legal actions comply with New York State laws and ethical guidelines.Qualifications Must be permitted to practice in New York and be in good standing with the NY Bar Association.Minimum of 3years of PERSONAL INJURY experience is required.Demonstrated proficiency in litigation, including depositions (plaintiff and defendant), motion practice, and court appearances.Strong understanding of New York civil procedure and personal injury law.Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.Proven ability to manage a demanding caseload efficiently and effectively.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required.Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Comprehensive benefits package e.g., health, dental, vision insurance; paid time off; 401(k) retirement plan .Future profit sharing/partnership is available based on experience and performance.Opportunities for professional growth and continuing legal education.Supportive and collaborative work environment in a well-established New York City firm.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$125,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience:Personal injury law:3 years (Required) Language:Spanish (Preferred) License/Certification:New York State Bar admission (Required) Work Location:In person.
